Dhanamanjuri University Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences is a multilingual (English, Hindi and Manipuri) multidisciplinary journal which has relatively sought to bring into the exchange of ideas among scholars from different disciplines around the globe. It was launched in December, 2025 as a part of the broader vision of the present Vice Chancellor, Professor W.Chandbabu Singh, to facilitate and encourage the faculty members and scholars for a significant and fruitful thrust in the field of research in tune with the evolving global scenario.
The journal aims to create a strong and vibrant atmosphere for research endeavours and at the same time to update one’s knowledge responding to the demand of time. It offers to potentially take into consideration contributions made by the scholars belonging to humanities and social sciences in particular and other disciplines in general.

A long term strategy to provide a strong academic platform for encouraging both scholars from inside as well as outside the University for an in-depth research and inculcate scientific temperament in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences. Further, it also plans in helping the scholars, irrespective of their background, to have more academic space for exchange of ideas as well as intellectual exposure worldwide.

DMU Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences encourages advanced studies and research in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences so as to enhance the overall level of intellectual and academic standard of rese in par with other top higher institutions of learning across the globe.
